Tricia
Director of Clinical Services
Tricia is the founder of the practice: a senior accredited therapist with COSRT and a UKCP registered psychotherapist. She has been in clinical practice for over 35 years, in both the NHS and independent healthcare sectors. Tricia has a collaborative therapeutic approach, which incorporates therapy skills from multiple trainings in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, individual psychotherapy, couple therapy, trauma therapy techniques, and family therapy. Her treatment is tailored to help individuals or couples cultivate the skills and coping tools required to improve their stability and sense of well-being, reduce anxiety and conflict and promote good communication skills. She has a special interest in how people form emotional bonds, both sexual and non-sexual, that influence how we relate and respond in all kinds of situations and relationships. Her focus is on helping individuals gain a comprehensive understanding of their issues and feel empowered to form and/or maintain functional and rewarding attachments, whether intimate, personal or professional.
She was awarded a COSRT Fellowship in 2013 for her lifetime contribution to the specialty of sexual and relationship therapy.

Duncan
Duncan is an experienced psychosexual and relationship therapist, trained at Tavistock Relationships, Relate and Cruse Bereavement Care. He specialises in working with adults who are experiencing problems in their intimate relationships and sex lives. Sometimes these can seem insurmountable, but specialist psychosexual and relationship therapy can help clients gain a clearer perspective on what is happening and to start to make changes. He works mainly with couples, but also see individuals, whether gay, straight, bi or trans. The specifics of each relationship are unique, so he offers a non-judgemental space to explore experiences and feelings. His view is that effective therapy is about more than technical skill. It’s also about creating an environment where challenging work can be done safely. The therapeutic relationship built together is vital: we meet for an initial assessment session to see if we think we can work together and if so, ongoing therapy will be arranged. This is usually open-ended, but useful work can also be done in time-limited therapy.
Rob
Rob is a consultant clinical psychologist with many years experience in general adult mental health and addiction, both in the NHS and private sector. He provides clinical and neuropsychological assessment therapy, particularly for alcohol and substance misuse. He focuses in particular on short-term interventions.
Rob has written numerous articles on the neuropsychology of addiction, habit disorders, relapse prevention, and stress and performance anxiety management.
As well as being a clinical psychologist, Rob has an interest in existential philosophy and holds an MA in Modern European Philosophy. Asked what this combination of philosophy and psychology brings to the work he does with clients, Rob notes that this dual perspective allows for consultations to be viewed in a much broader and positive way, ensuring that it is the client and not simply the problem or illness that remains at the heart of successful treatment.
